Week 1: Premiere & First Coupling (June 2–7)

Season 8 kicked off June 2 on Peacock with 10 OG Islanders walking into the villa, plus a same-night curveball: bombshells Gabriel Vasconcelos and Kayda Bosse crashed the party before the credits even rolled.

The premiere’s first couples came out of a kissing-compatibility challenge: Trinity Tatum picked Bryce Dettloff, Aniya Harvey landed with Zach Georgiou, and KC Chandler and Sincere Rhea filled out the early pairs. Beatriz Hatz had her eye on Sean Reifel — but by Day 3, Gabriel and Kayda each got to steal a partner. Gabriel chose Beatriz. Kayda chose Zach. That left Sean and Kenzie Annis single and exposed.

It didn’t take long for the villa to deliver its first heartbreak. At the Week 1 recoupling, none of the girls picked Sean — and the Bethlehem police officer turned reality star became Season 8’s first islander dumped from the villa. 💔

By the end of Week 1, the couples looked like this:

Week 2: The Slumber Party Bombshells (June 8–14)

Just when couples were settling in, Episode 6 (Monday, June 8) blew it all up. What looked like a cute slumber-party challenge — matching white pajamas, a giant shared bed — was actually cover for three new bombshells to slip into the villa: Sol Dean (also known as Sol Mýa), Jen Terry, and Caleb McDaniel. 🌺

The fallout was immediate. Sol set her sights on Sincere, already shaky in his coupling with Melanie. Caleb, a 21-year-old from Charleston, caught Kenzie’s attention right away — “he’s my type,” she admitted on camera, setting up a love triangle with her current partner, Corbin.

By the following recoupling, America’s votes had reshuffled the villa again:

Corbin chose Melanie. Beatriz was left standing alone — and dumped from the island. She got a final, classy moment with the girls and left Gabriel a parting message before heading home. 💔

Week 3: Love Triangles, Letters & a Double Dumping (June 15–18)

This is where Season 8 turned into a full-blown soap opera. With Kenzie publicly paired with Caleb but still drawn to Corbin, and Sincere torn between Melanie and Sol, the villa spent most of Week 3 stewing in tension.

The “You’ve Got Mail” Recoupling

In a love-letter-themed twist, Kenzie had to choose between two letters waiting in her mailbox — one from Caleb, her current match, and one from her ex, Corbin. She wrote her letter to Corbin. He wrote his to her. The two recoupled on the spot, leaving Caleb single again. Elsewhere, Trinity & Bryce and Aniya & KC both chose to stay put, proving (so far) to be two of the villa’s steadiest pairs.

Episode 14: The Double Dumping (Thursday, June 18)

Then came the gut-punch. Host Ariana Madix confirmed four couples were safe from the next elimination: Trinity & Bryce, Aniya & KC, Kayda & Zach, and Melanie & Sincere. That left Jen, Sol, Kenzie, Gabriel, Caleb, and Corbin all up for grabs — and the islanders themselves got to decide who’d go.

It was brutal, and it was split by gender:

Adding fuel to the fire: Sol had confronted Sincere earlier in the episode, calling him “full of sh–t” over his wandering eye, right before Sincere promised Melanie — again — that his interest in Sol was officially done. Hours later, Sol was gone.

After Gabriel and Sol’s exits, five couples remained standing:

  1. Trinity Tatum & Bryce Dettloff
  2. Aniya Harvey & KC Chandler
  3. Kayda Bosse & Zach Georgiou
  4. Melanie Moreno & Sincere Rhea
  5. Kenzie Annis & Corbin Mims

Latest Episodes: The Aftermath (June 19–20)

Episode 15 (Friday, June 19) picked up the emotional wreckage. Jen — who’d lost both a budding connection in Gabriel and one of her closest friends in Sol on the same night — broke down in a heart-to-heart with Caleb, the villa’s other newly single bombshell. The two leaned on each other over heartbreak and how hard it is to find something real on camera, hinting at a possible new connection to watch.

As of Saturday, June 20, the villa is bracing for its biggest twist of the summer: Casa Amor is officially confirmed to begin Monday, June 22. Expect new bombshells, new temptations, and a recoupling that historically wrecks at least half the couples on this list — so enjoy the current stability while it lasts. 🍹
